About a Noun /Nomina 


Nouns is a clause that functions as a noun. Or in other words noun also be used or have the
same functions as a noun (noun). Because of its function as a noun, the noun clause can
serve as the subject of the sentence (the subject of a sentence), object transitive verb 
(object of a transitive verb), object of prepositions (object of a preposition), complement 
(complement), and providers additional information ( noun in apposition). 
(Clause is a combination of several words that have a subject and a predicate. 
So noun clause is a clause that position as functioning as a noun or noun).
Noun can be shaped singural (single) or plural (plural).

• Function
Explanation:



a.  
The first function,
noun as the subject, the bottom line if the noun has become the subject of a
verb, as in essence a sentence must be at least Subject + Verb. I'm not
saying that the subject + predicate, the predicate longer explanation of the
verb. In a predicate in English are required to have a verb.

b.     
The second function,
noun as an object, the point if the noun becomes the object of a verb. In this
course the noun becomes the object of a transitive verb (verbs that require
object).



c.    
The third function,
noun as a complementary subject, if that is more simple. Usually the noun which
functioned as a complementary subject to be preceded by a linking verb or
several, or also called copular verb. 

d.    
The fourth function,
noun as object complement, bottom line is almost similar as above, only
functions as a complementary object noun is usually preceded by a particular
verb.



a.      
The fifth function,
generally and even should a preposition must be followed by a noun or noun
phrase. If not there will be confusion in terms of the meaning. Look at the
example above: I live in Jakarta, Jakarta if the word is not included after the
preposition, then the meaning will be awkward; I live in ... you must be
wondering where to stay?



b.     
Sixth function,
subject as an adjunct (addition), meaning if there is a noun explaining another
noun, the word order is called a classifier. See the example above:
that is the book store, book says there is only as explanatory of the store.
It's OK to be removed if it feels the need to be eliminated because this is
only a noun adjunct additional information to the main noun.
